ACCT Philly and Philadoptables showcase adorable cats during "9 Lives for $9" adoption event.

Did you know there are more than nine reasons you might be healthier when sharing your life with cats, or that for only $9 you can become a part of a nationwide life-saving movement? Adopt a feline friend from ACCT Philly during the special "9 Lives for $9" adoption event and you become part of something important - a national movement to save the lives of shelter cats. 

Come and meet adorable cats (age 9 months or older) in need of homes at the Animal Care and Control Team shelter (ACCT Philly) at 111 West Hunting Park Ave, Philadelphia. It's a part of a promotion from November 10 through November 18 across the United States, brought to Philadelphia by Philadoptables and supported by national animal welfare organization Best Friends Animal Society and funded in part by PetSmart Charities.

When you save a life by adopting a sheltered cat, your life is better too. Your new best friend can help lower your risk of heart attack, boost your immune system, reduce your blood pressure, and help brighten your mood among other benefits. And if laughter is the best medicine, cat antics can provide your daily dose or just snuggle up and let you know everything's going to be okay.

This adoption event is part of Best Friends Animal Society's national mission of No More Homeless Pets which aims to end the killing of dogs and cats in America's shelters. Philadoptables is a participating member of the No More Homeless Pets Network and a supporter of ACCT Philly.
