Long-time residents often voice complaints about tenants lacking pride in the properties they are renting.

Darlene Messina, who heads the Manayunk Neighborhood Council's quality of life committee, shared the following photo from one such neighbor.

In the picture, the property's backyard is overgrown with unkempt grass, weeds, plants—an occasion of too much green. Patio furniture is one just of the victims from the blighted yard.
