December incident torched Ridge Avenue vehicle.

An Upper Roxborough car was set on fire earlier this month, Philadelphia Police said.

Overnight Dec. 5 a resident report a car fire on the 9000 block of Ridge Avenue, according to police records.

A woman told police that someone wrote "F--- you" on the hood of her green 2001 Ford Escape.

Additionally, the car's interior was set on fire.

Engine 66 from the Philadelphia Fire Department and a fire marshal responded. They ruled the incident an arson.

The damage was estimated at $5,000. No suspects were listed.

Was there ever a report on the suspicious car fire, again a Ford Escape, on Jannette St (where Green lane ends) near the park entrance?

Car sat there for weeks half way up the curb, windows half down, and items thrown around the car. Then all of a sudden is was all burned up.

Eh, I'm sure it was nothing....
