Why Go: Now in its second year, The PA Burlesque Festival comes to the historic Plays and Players Theatre at 1714 Delancey Place (Rittenhouse Square) Philadelphia. Join the ever-effervescent Madame Corsetiere (Jim Thorpe) as she hosts two world-class shows, bursting with the USA's most mesmerizing and most flavorful Burlesque talent.

Why Go: Count on us for inspiration and fun for the little ones every Satuday morning. The first and third Saturdays are all about exploring nature: we'll study different objects from nature and take a walk in the woods. The second and fourth Satudays feature read-aloud storytime and old-fashioned games.

After Ballengée presents his research and art-making practice in our gallery, the two lead a walk to the Center's amphibian hotspots.

Here's another weekend event: St. Patrick's Dinner and Concert. March 9th
A St. Patrick's Celebration featuring Celtic Women and Friends will be held Saturday, March 9, at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 5720 Ridge Avenue. The evening begins at 6 pm with an Irish Dinner in the Parish Hall, featuring corned beef and cabbage with potatoes, and soft drinks, with beer and wine available for a donation. At 7:30 pm is the concert with Celtic Women and Friends, to be followed by a Meet-and-Greet Dessert Reception.
