Ridge Avenue has another business.
EZ Mini Market opened at the corner of Ridge Avenue and Dupont Street (6160 Ridge Avenue) at the end of 2012 and is open for business now.
The store sells basic food items, drinks, candy, chips and other convenience store fare.

Awesome! I was looking for a new place to buy my lotto tickets and swisher sweets. Well done RDC! Ridge Ave is really turning into a shoppers paradise

Maybe an interview with the new store owners or some information on how they plan to draw customers/ give back to the community would give this article a little meat to the bone. A lot of these articles are like facebook status updates. Also how is this store different than what was there before? I pass this store fairly often and all I've noticed is that it's pretty ugly and looks like any other bodega on Castor Ave.

I agree James...a lot of articles here have just been things you can get if you drive down the street. Where's the journalism?

This type of store, with its tacky window and signage, does nothing to improve the quality of the Ridge Avenue shopping area. However, it appears that many Roxboroughites want it. I am reminded how many businesses were located and failed at the corner of Ridge and Leverington before the uber successful smoking/cigarette shop opened.
