Fire Sparks in Basement of Krams Ave. Home

No injuries were reported at a home fire on Krams Avenue in Manayunk on Saturday afternoon.

 

The Philadelphia Fire Department responded to 167 Krams Ave. at 3:07 p.m. on Aug. 4 for a reported dwelling fire.

According to fire officials, the fire had occurred in the basement of the two-story home. The probable source of the fire was likely from a water meter, said fire officials.

No injuries were reported. The homeowner was inside the home when the fire occurred but had exited the home soon after when fire officials responded to the scene.

The fire was under control by around 3:23 p.m., said fire officials. The fire department's tactical box team responded to the scene.
