4th Annual Craft Fair

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Where: Roxborough Baptist Church 6035 Ridge Ave
  • Why Go: Get some shopping done.  Crafters will share their jewelry, floral arrangements, gift baskets, candles, afghans, angels, toys, cards, wooden country items, letter art, photography, homemade bath & body lotions & soaps, Ukrainian Egg Ornaments (and demonstrations), handpainted glassware, handblown glassware & jewelry, and so much more. Enjoy baked goods and stay for lunch. 
  • Cost: Free entrance

Fall Craft Fair

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Where: Ridge Avenue United Methodist Church 7811 Ridge Ave
  • Why Go: Come and browse homemade crafts of all kinds—scarves, jewelry, cards, Christmas decorations, crocheted blankets, wooden crafts, original artwork, pottery, doll clothes, books, stained glass, quilted accessories and more.
  • Cost: Free

Winter Bazaar

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Where: Church of Saint Alban 6769 Ridge Ave
  • Why Go: Shop for gifts, crafts, homemade soups, cookie exchange and get a chance to win a raffle prize.  Some vendors include Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, Homemade soaps/candles, Amazing Buttons, Scentsy, Avon, Mary Kay, Several Jewelers and more!
  • Cost: Free

3rd Annual Golden Key Holiday Boutique

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 17 from 4 - 8 p.m.
  • Where: The Little Apple
  • Why Go: Shop, drink some bubbly and enjoy homemade sweets for a great cause. 20% of all sales at The Little Apple will go directly to the local philanthropies supported by the Philadelphia Alumni Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
  • Cost: Free

One Book Mishkan's "Saturday Night at the Movies"

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m.
  • Where: 4101 Freeland Ave, Philadelphia
  • Why Go: Watch A Serious Man, a Coen Brothers film, a critically acclaimed black comedy-drama about a professor who seeks meaning and answers as his life begins to unravel. Themes paralleling the One Book will be explored in a post-film discussion led by Adam Blistein, PHD, classics scholar and movie buff.
  • Cost: Suggested donation $5
