Nutter, NASCAR Usher in New Car Wash

Mayor, councilman and race car present at All Seasons Car Wash grand opening.

Scorching temperatures Saturday provided the perfect backdrop for the grand opening of Roxbprough's newest car wash.

All Seasons Car Wash and Mobil 1 Lube Express debuted June 30 with significant fanfare: Tony Stewart's Mobile 1 NASCAR race car, Mayor Michael Nutter and City Councilman Curtis Jones, Jr. all welcomed the "fast, clean and green" establishment to Ridge Avenue.

"We wanted to get the concept right. We wanted to give something that local people would like, and it was important to us to fit well with the community," he said.

Saturday held to phrase "grand opening." In addition to appearances by the mayor and councilman, corporate partner Mobile 1 trotted out the #14 Tony Stewart car; the exhibited some flashy local cars; and cooled people off with water and pretzels on the balmy day.
