Police Remind Residents to Lock Their Cars
An officer from the Philadelphia police department urges residents to lock their cars.
Philadelphia police officer Charles Klein of the 5th Police District told members of the Wissahickon Neighbors Civic Association that all residents should make sure their car doors are locked.
Officer Klein said that there has been a high number of thefts from vehicles recently, and that a lot of the cars had unlocked doors.
Klein also urges residents with GPS systems to hide them from sight when the vehicle is not occupied.
"Lock your cars," Klein said. "Always remember to do that."
