Roxborough Deli Reopens After Car Accident

T & F Farmers Pride is back in business.

T & F Farmers Pride reopened Thursday in Roxborough.

The atmosphere, finally, is light at T & F Farmers Pride in Roxborough.

In April a car drove through the front of the legendary deli and market, destroying a load-bearing wall, and forcing the family business to shut down for a month.

On Thursday morning, at 9 a.m., just as owner Tony DeLizzio promised, the store reopened.

It was a festive environment.

Fresh off paint, provided by daughter, Bianca DeLizzio, T & F Farmers Pride shined brightly May 24. Customers cheered as they reunited with the Ridge Avenue business, which originally debuted 24 years ago. Balloons danced on the deli's sign alerting patrons T & F is back in business.

And, as a nod to the misfortune that befell them, a sandwich board warned customers while parking to: "Please stop before entering."
