Roxborough-Manayunk Schools Avoid Cheating List

A 'Philadelphia Inquirer' probe reveals 56 city school under investigation.

As Pennsylvania System of School Assessment tests get underway this week, city schools are under intense scrutiny to fairly monitor and administer the exams. Following a probe from The Philadelphia Inquirer, the School District of Philadelphia revealed 56 district and charters are under some level of investigation for cheating.

However, no schools in Roxborough and Manayunk are suspected.

Detailed in a map from Philly.com, 53 public and three charter schools from virtually every neighborhood in the city are classified in one of the three levels of investigation.

The area's elementary (Dobson, Cook-Wissahickon, Shawmont and Levering), high (Roxborough, Saul and Lankeneau) and charter schools (Green Woods) all avoided suspicion.

The state's Department of Education said the case against Philadelphia schools is very compelling.
