Roxborough Roadwork Scheduled This Week
Streets Department announces plans for renovations this week.
Roadwork will continue in Roxborough this week after a lull for a month.
Throughout the late summer, many streets in Upper Roxborough, Andorra, Ridge Park and Roxborough experienced road resurfacings. Starting Tuesday—weather permitting—the Streets Department will continue its work on several streets.
Streets Commissioner Clarena I. W. Tolson announced the closures on Friday.
"To minimize disruption to traffic and area residents and businesses some of the work will be completed during the evening hours. Weather or special events in the area may alter the resurfacing schedule. Residents are urged to move their cars from the work sites when temporary "No Parking" signs are posted so that vehicles are not towed. In the event a car is towed, please contact your local Police District to determine its location," the announcement read.
