We are now in a runoff.

Tredyffrin-Easttown Patch Local Editor Bob Byrne's photograph got the most votes, but, as a Patch employee, he can't win, so here are the finalists. Choose which picture you think is best.

All the pictures are numbered in the caption area. Please vote by giving the number of the photo you like best in the comments below. We'd also love to know why you think that is the best photo, but all we need for the vote to count is the number.

Voting will end at 9 a.m. Wednesday. So get in your vote. One vote per person, please.

This is part of Patch’s summer Picture of the Week series, where we ask you for your best pictures on a certain topic each week. We love seeing the pictures you've shared so far and are looking forward to more. The winning submission will get a Patch prize pack, which includes a very soft Patch Tshirt, a baseball cap and maybe some other Patch stuff, but more importantly, you’ll get bragging rights.

We’ll be taking photo submissions each week from 4 a.m. Monday through noon Friday.

#2 - The essence of summer. Beach, waves, spray, foam, and a kid having a great time in spite of a bathing suit full of sand! I love this picture.

#6. Nothing speaks "beachy summer" as does rough-hewn textures of wooden Adirondack chairs with a backdrop of fence and sand -- all in naturistic monochromatic color values and juxtaposed with the beauty and vibrant joy of one precious iMPY Beatrice Grace -- the real scene-stealer!

Sharon - am I missing something with these impy dolls? I saw you entered some photos of them in the baby contest too.

#2 is the best. It's a classic and refreshing depiction of what going to the beach is about.

#22 - Simplicity - a child having fun at the beach. Clear shot of the ocean wave froth, not fuzzy at all, and I also like that it could be ANY beach (yes, I know the caption says Ocean City) - there's no inadvertent advertising for any particular beach or town. It's a universal shot :)

I agree. Voting for that picture, too. To me, that is a fun, summertime shot at any beach. Love it.

BerwynGirl ... not sure what you mean by "missing something." iMPY is my photographic muse, so-to-speak. Each to own. I hope PATCH calls for garden photos next, as I've got the cutest one of iMPY watering (posed with hose) our pepper plants. Do you not think she's photogenic-adorable enough to warrant entries? I do try to keep the contest theme in mind. Mayhap I stretched it with the baby submission; however, I figure the editor would have the final word on whether or not she stays or goes.

Actually I thought perhaps you were selling them, subtle marketing and all. Yes, to each their own!

#22 (which I think some people are calling #2). It brings back some of my most delightful memories of riding those waves!!!

#25 (3 of 7) because of the interesting camera angle and father-son theme, but for me it barely noses out 22 and 46. My personal preference is for the human interest angle.

Love #22 (2 of 7) - to me that is what is so great about the beach - the water, waves and fun.
