wow .. jeffrey stop looking at how much money andy is saving you by hiring no gm , inferior coaches ,,etc .. clearly the bottom line is making money and not winning . the only way this team will ever win is by starting with a gm that has experience building an nfl team ... howie roseman ?? a intern from univ of miami ... shrewd money saving move ... as long as the fans keep buying tickets it will never end .. i guarentee you buddy ryan at 80 years old can pick better players than anyone the eagles have hired the past 15 years

You can not always blame the coaches for the poor performance all the time. Reid has made some bad decisions lately but the real blame belongs on the team that cannot get it all together. I say the answer is to rid Phila of the Coaches and the players that are Money Hungry but have not played up to their ability. Start with Vick and his cohorts and then find a Coaching staff that will produce a winner.

Reid has to go. Just look at his poor personnel choices...one word...Mcnabb! He can't even hook on with any NFL team since he finally got bounced outta here. He always stank and Reid kept him around. Keep your word Jeff and get him gone, now! Don't even wait till season's end.

Reid may be noted as the greatest coach in the team history, but he will also be remembered as a good coach, but one that was not quite good enough. No Super Bowl win.

I have been Reid's biggest supporter for years, always defending him with friends and family and that class of Philadelphia sports fan that is NEVER happy unless Championship trophies in ALL sports are raining down like manna from heaven.

But that has become harder and harder the past few years, given some of the poor decisions in draft picks, coaching changes (Juan Castillo?!?), and player personnel. For example, the Vick signing has turned out to be a franchise setback, in my humble opinion.

Now it looks like the team has deserted Reid and the hand-writing is all over the walls of The Linc.

Better to just wait until the end of the season...who are going to replace him with on the staff? Marty "coin flip" Morninghweig? At the end of the season they can look at some assistant coaches from around the league and some coaches who are currently not coaching and then find the right fit.

I feel as though the team has given up on andy..I didn't like the castillo signing at first, but juan wasn't that bad..I think the whole "I need to do a bettr job" bit has run him out of town..thanks for the 14 years..

Andy has been here fourteen years for ONE REASON. He has made Jeff Lurie a very rich man. Fans often forget that football is a business FIRST. If we the fans pushed back and didnt buy Iggles tickets and didnt buy their Jerseys , trinkets and trash Andy might have been gone long ago. But since we are the best fans in sports we support our IGGLES. Hence. money was never an issue. When the stands are full Mr. Lurie can turn a deaf ear on the whining fans and turn his head when his team sucks on the field. The only way to get their attention is to not spend money.
Andy will be gone next year not because Lurie wants to fire him but because.Luries long run of financial success may be in jeopardy if the team doesnt rebuild now.

I believe Andy Reid to be one of the very best football coaches on the planet. It is my hope that Mr. Lurie will agree with that opinion and keep Coach Reid in Philadelphia. Andy Reid is not only a fine coach but a man of excellent personal character qalities. We need more men like him. Don't let him go.
