Well as far as the Wash and Dry on ridge they probably came through the back door. The City turned the lights off in the Parking Lot at Leverington.. They are asking people to break into cars and businesses.

Definitely. There's been an increase in early morning burglaries. The police know this so why aren't they patrolling more frequently during those hours? If this isn't stopped sooner or later someone is going to get seriously injured or killed.

what do we have to do to get a community watch going on around here to protect our business and homes

Sounds like we need a community watch. Now several people have been tasered.
This is from the My Fox Philly site.
Neighbors in Manayunk and nearby Roxborough are worried. Three times over the weekend robbers armed with tasers attacked residents on the streets, leaving their victims stunned.
"It could take you down," one neighbor told FOX 29.
"You could be out for the count and not able to defend yourself," said teacher Nicole Perri. "It's scary."
Detectives say four taser toting robbers held up one victim in the 100 block of Rector Street across from a church and charter school. They also struck in the 4400 block of Cresson near the Manayunk train station and then a few blocks away in the 4000 block of Mitchell in Roxborough.
"It's unbelievable for somebody just walking home from work or getting done with work, walking to their house and somebody coming up on them," said Jeff Swider, who works in the area.
The latest taser robberies come just a couple of weeks after a 21-year-old man was tased and robbed of his cash and iPhone on his way home from work in Chestnut Hill. It was the second attack there in a month. He told FOX 29 the robbers

A town watch might help, but what we really need to do is hold our lazy police force accountable. They are pathetic

A description of the suspects in the taserings would be a big help, unless the victim was shot with the taser from the back.
