Last week, I asked you to identify the location of a set of steps from a photo taken in the Spring of 1938.

Many of you guess correctly that it is the set of stairs that connects Silverwood Street to Krams Avenue.

There was some debate about whether or not it was a set of stairs connecting Ridge to Main Street, but the stairs are on Silverwood.

Thanks for playing a check back next week for another photo for another round of then and now.

Still don't believe it to be the case and I stand by my answer that its the steps from Ridge to Main Street. I cannot be convinced otherwise!!!

I was sure, too, but upon further examination on Google Maps Streetview, it becomes clear that it's at Silverwood & Krams. Even though it's overgrown today, you can see at Silverwood & Krams there's a rugged, natural rock wall at the base that matches the photograph where at Main & Ridge, that wall base just isn't there. Also at Main & Ridge, the "balcony" layout at the top is different, including an additional small flight of steps onto Ridge.
