UPS Store Coming to the Ridge

Opening date set for the fall.

Filling a void in the commercial district for both Roxborough and Manayunk, the UPS Store will debut a new location on Ridge Avenue.

Corporate officials confirmed that a new UPS Store franchise store will debut at 6024 Ridge Ave., near Sherwin Williams and Super Cuts.

The timetable table for opening is for the fall, about three months away or so, said Bernard Guet, executive director for the Roxborough Development Corporation.

Currently, the nearest UPS Store is in Chestnut Hill at 7715 Crittenden St. and 333 E. Lancaster Ave. in Wynnewood.

UPS Store spokesperson Chelsea Lee said each franchise store is individually owned. Lee did say that the Roxborough location will be a "one-stop shop for shipping, postal, printing and business services."

Strollers along the Ridge will notice a "Coming Soon" sign for the UPS Store on the vacant storefront. Currently, the inside is bare.

Visit the corporate site for more info on the UPS Store.
