Former Roxborough resident, Roxborough High School alumni and U.S. Army veteran Horace A. McMaster, Sr. died Oct. 3, according to his obituary.

The Lownes Funeral Home in Lafayette Hill said the 82-year-old former member of the Roxborough Presbyterian Church is survived by his wife, Sara, and three children—Judy Stotesbury, Suzann Barrett, and Horace McMaster, Jr.

McMaster, Sr., served in both World War II and the Korean War. He later worked as an assembler for Budd Co. and customer service rep for Continental Bank.
