Melvin and June Robbins, married for 65 years, were high school sweethearts, waited for one another throughout WWII, after which they were reunited. They married, and had 7 children, 18 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. They've been residents of Broomall for over 56 years. Still very much in love with each other!! Credit Bette

The regional winner will be named the cutest couple the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 13, and the first place couple will win a prize package valued at $537.

  • You may enter once per day.
  • Users will vote to determine one cutest couple per Patch. Each Patch winner will then be entered into the regional contest to win the prizes listed above.
  • You may vote once per day.
  • Any vote with a negative comment about any of the couples will be disqualified and not count.
  • There is one set of prizes for the regional first place couple and one set of prizes for the regional second place couple. The prize for winning the local Patch contest is entrance into the regional contest and a chance to win the regional prize package. Prizes are listed above.
  • In the event of a tie, the winner will be randomly chosen from the couples that received the most votes.

#5 is my vote. For a moment lets all forget about what brought us to this page, maybe you are in a picture, maybe you know them, maybe you frequent the site, or find it on a random search, and lets think objectively. Why taking all that away are you voting the way you are. All the images have merit, but number 5 is the only one that appears to capture a true pure moment and in captures the love, connection, and affection they have for each other. Its not staged, its not just a picture of 2 people, its capturing a moment of bliss and that is why they deserve your vote and why they deserve to win. We should all be lucky enough to have someone that we can have a true moment like they have in that picture with.

For your information, photo #10 was not at all staged. It also captures a true, pure moment of bliss. We were completely unaware we were having our photo taken at that time. I can't speak for the other photos, but I can say that it's pretty insulting, the way you basically just spit on all the other couples. Yes, some of them look like they were pulled from the couples' engagement/wedding photos. So what? There's nothing wrong with that, and it doesn't mean that those couples are any less in love than the people you want to win. None of these are "just a picture of 2 people". On behalf of every other couple in this contest, I'd like to ask people to vote however they want, for whatever reasons – but to try to have some class and consideration in your comments.
