Rafih Fahd went to work at Wings to Go Monday morning and knew something was wrong.

"I walked back to the safe, and everything was gone," he said.

The Roxborough storeowner said that someone entered through his backdoor and took an undisclosed amount of cash. Philadelphia Police investigated the scene, but Fahd said there wasn't much to go on.

"They came in, took the cash and left," he said.

Fahd has owned the store at 6001 Ridge Ave. for 10 years without incident. He said he was left with no choice with what to do.

"Because they took everything, I had to go back to work. I can't close," he said Tuesday. "Everything is normal now."

He said the incident was as resolved as it could be and didn't expect to hear anything else about it.
