The results are in and readers chose Forbidden Drive and the Wissahickon Creek as their favorite spot to go for a walk or hike in the Manayunk-Roxborough area for this week's Readers' Choice poll.
The Fairmount Park oasis won with 60 percent of the vote. The Manayunk Canal Towpath also had a strong showing.
With tons of local programing the Friends of the Wissahickon always has recreational options for the woods and creek. Coming up on June 2 is National Trails Day, where the FOW looks for volunteers.
