Schuylkill Center Field Trip: On Thursday the Schuylkill Center for Education will host an excursion to Hawk Mountain in Berks County with the bus leaving at 8 a.m. Here's how the center describes the trip: "Join us for an exciting field trip to Hawk Mountain. We'll hike to the summit in search of migrating bald eagles, hawks and falcons soaring above. You bring the hiking shoes; we'll provide the binoculars. This trip will return at 5:00 pm and is limited to 25 participants. For ages 5-12. $75 (Schuylkill members $65) Contact: scee@schuylkillcenter.org or 215-482-7300x110."
Thrill Show Tickets: Tickets are still available for the Philadelphia Police Department's annual Thrill Show. All proceeds from the show go towards scholarships for the children of fallen city police officers and firefighters.
