Here's what's going on around town on Wednesday.

How about some history: Here's a history program that might be worth checking out:  "NO CHANCE FOR CAVALRY!  The Trials, Tribulations, and Triumphs of the Mounted Soldiers Fighting for American Independence. WEDNESDAY, October 30, 2013, 7:30 P.M. 

Nobody seems to take notice of the Dragoons of the Revolution, but author, Jim Piecuch, and his book, The Cavalry in the Revolution, will bring to light the exploits of these gallant, “hell bent for leather” troopers.

You are invited to join with us at the October meeting of the American Revolution Round Table of Philadelphia (ARRTOP) for this rousing speaker’s program. 

A variety of Professor’s Piecuch’s many books will be available for sale at the meeting.

ARRTOP meetings take place at historic St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Chapel, on the Barren Hill battleground.  St. Peter’s is located at 3025 Church Rd, Lafayette Hill, PA, between Ridge Pike and Germantown Pike. Parking is available directly across from the church.http://www.stpeterslafayettehill.org/
