Ivy Ridge Meeting and Everything Else You Need to Know About Wednesday

Here's everything you need to know about Wednesday, July 31.

Free Barbecue: Roxborough Presbyterian will host a free barbecue on Wednesday at 6 p.m.  The barbecue is hosted by by The Philadelphia Project- a Christian non-profit organization committed to the holistic development of the neighboring community in partnership with RPC.

Ivy Ridge Trail Meeting: There will be a meeting about the planning for the Ivy Ridge Trail on July, 31 at 7 p.m. at the North Light Community Center.  The meeting will review design concepts for the trail between Dupont Street and the Ivy Ridge Station.

This day in history: On July 31, 1961, Fenway Park hosts the first every major league baseball game.  The game was called in the ninth inning due to rain, but it was still a better finish then what happened in 2002.
