This Week at The Gorgas Park Farmer's Market
Farmer's Market every Friday in Gorgas Park
Today we have Strawberries....the season is ending so they are few and far between but we have a few to sell again this week.
We have started picking English Sell Peas and Kirby Cucumbers. Kirby are a variety of small crunchy cucumber used quite often for pickling but we love the sweet crunchiness in our salad!!
Greenhouse Tomatoes...........no they are not those simply wonderful tomatoes we get in summer but these are grown in soil under a greenhouse to give them the "almost summer tomato taste" !!!!
