Camp Jeep Drives Into The Philadelphia Auto Show

Auto show attendees are invited to experience Camp Jeep, the trail-rated test track featuring the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The fan-favorite track is back again, this time with an all-new obstacle for all to enjoy: the Steel Bender! Camp Jeep is a thrilling five-minute interactive adventure zone that pairs professional 4x4 drivers with riders. Passengers can experience the full capabilities of Jeep models including the Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, and Jeep Grand Cherokee, as drivers demonstrate how to drive safely on off-road terrain. Guests sit right beside a professional driver and climb the eye-catching 18-ft high, 35 degree Jeep Mountain-the icon of the ride. A live DJ will be onsite during the Camp Jeep experience, adding a music element to the space.

The Camp Jeep experience will incorporate obstacles that simulate the capability standards of a Jeep including fallen logs measuring 18 inches in diameter and a 30-degree wedge that demonstrates the vehicles body articulation where attendees will experience the adrenaline rush of looking straight up or straight down as they navigate the obstacles.  The Jeep test track includes logs, stumps, an angled drive-over and other Jeep Trail Rated terrains.

Hang on tight as the Jeep vehicles teeter side-to-side on the newest Camp Jeep obstacle. The Steel Bender demonstrates extreme three-wheeling over the 50 foot long, 8 feet tall obstacle. As the vehicle ascends and descends 8 feet, passengers will experience the capabilities of a Jeep as it articulates side-to-side over unleveled ramps.

Participating riders will be automatically entered into the Chrysler Group National Giveaway for a chance to win $45,000 toward any eligible Chrysler Group vehicle.

Register for the Camp Jeep experience at the designated Jeep exhibit during public show hours. During the Camp Jeep ride, participants will be accompanied by highly trained product specialists. All participants 17 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and be at least 44 inches in height.
