Help Local Teen Win USA Today Ultimate Athlete Award
Online voting for local basketball player Alex Louin ends tomorrow at noon, Dec. 16.
A local teen is one of 32 semi-finalists in the USA Today Ultimate Athlete 2013 award.
Alex Louin began her basketball career at age 5 while playing with her older brother. She was selected to be in the nationwide contest by a panel formed by USA TODAY High School Sports.

She received 26,400 online votes to make it to the semi-finals of the competition. The winner of the contest will be featured on the USA TODAY plus a $1,000 donation will be made to their school's athletic department.
Voting will be open through noon tomorrow Monday Dec. 16. Click here to vote.

Alex is a senior at Mount Saint Joseph Academy, where she has been a varsity starter and team captain for three years. As point guard, she was the leading scorer during her Sophmore and Junior years.
