Changes Coming to Weekend SEPTA Service

The weekend regional rail is altering its service.

SEPTA has announced several changes to the Manayunk/Norristown regional rail line.

The complete list of changes can be see on the transportation company's website, but here are the main changes:

  • Riders between the Norristown Transportation Center and Allegheny station stops will have to board on the outbound platform when catching the 12:42 a.m. 6281 train.
  • Due to track work, a shuttle bus will replace train service between Wissahickon Station and Elm Street during weekend service from February 2 to 17 and the weekend of March 23. Busses will connect to regional rail services at Wissahickon Station
  • SEPTA will be providing late night bus substitution for inbound passengers traveling between Elm Street and Manayunk station. Four buses will leave Elm Street at the same time as the 235, 2573, 6249 and 6241 trains and will serve the following stops: Elm Street, Main Street, NTC, Conshohocken, Spring Mill and Manayunk.
