Ivy Ridge Green 'Two on Tuesday' Neighborhood Clean-up
Ivy Ridge Green is Roxborough and Manayunk's all-volunteer landscaping, tree-planting, cleaning and greening collective.
'Two on Tuesday' is our seasonal, bi-weekly clean-up from 6pm to 8pm at various locations around Manayunk and Roxborough. It's a great way to de-stress from a day at the office!
Join us for the next 'Two on Tuesday' at the Fountain Street Steps.
The Fountain Street Steps have won THREE Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) awards in the last TWO years:
2011 - Third Place in the PHS City Garden Contest
2012 - First Place in the PHS City Garden Contest
2012 - PHS Community Greening Award - note that only 28 of these were awarded last year in all of PA, NJ and Delaware!
Judging for this year PHS 2012 City Garden contest is underway!
When: Tue, July 10, 2012, 6pm -- 8pm
Where: Umbria and Fountain Sts in Manayunk
Description: Two hours of volunteer cleaning and greening followed by (optional) gathering at the local pub.
