Manayunk Towpath Welcomes Gray Matters 5K Saturday

Marybeth Godlewski and HEAR-US charity host event.

Raising money and awareness for brain disorder hydrocephalus, the Gray Matters 5K comes to the Manyaunk Towpath Saturday.

Marybeth Godlewski, a Manayunk native and Lower Merion resident, runs the charity Hydrocephalus Equality Awareness Research United Society, or HEAR-US. She founded the organization because her daughter, Emma, daily deals with the condition.

Registration for the event can take place at the door Saturday 8 a.m. and will get off at the Manayunk Brewery. The race starts at 9 a.m.
