Harvest Festival Postponed Due to Rain Threat

Sunday event will be pushed to Oc. 14.

Those looking to get their fall on will have to wait one more week, in Roxborough at least.

Due to a Sunday forecast of rain, the Friends of Gorgas Park postponed the Harvest Festival seven days.

The group announced the delay until Oct. 14, according to a post on its Facebook page.

All of the scarecrow making, apple eating and pumpkin decorating will be pushed for one week. That event still will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
