Lane Closures Scheduled on I-676 Next Week
The daytime lane closures on I-676 are for bridge inspections.
There will be daytime lane closures on I-676 in Philadelphia for a series of bridge inspections next week.
PennDOT has announced the following work schedule:
- Monday, May 19 – The right lane will be closed on westbound Interstate 676 between 10th Street and 17th Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Tuesday, May 20 – The right lane will be closed on eastbound I-676 between 17th Street and 10th Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, May 21 – The right lane will be closed on westbound Interstate 676 between 10th Street and 17th Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m
- Thursday, May 22 – The right lane will be closed on eastbound I-676 between 17th Street and 10th Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.;
PennDOT advises motorists to allow more time for travel during the bridge inspections because slowdowns will occur. The inspections are part of PennDOT’s program to inspect state bridges at least once every two years.
