Manayunk 'Reindeer Romp' Raises Money for Nonprofit KenCrest

Friday bar crawl helps childhood and adult autism organization.

The holiday season offers many parties where people may make merry. One local nonprofit wants Main Street patrons to get into the yuletide spirit, while also helping out a good cause.

Plymouth Meeting-based KenCrest, which provides services for children and adults with autism, hosts the Reindeer Romp bar crawl Friday at the Bayou and Cactus in Manayunk.

In its 107th year, KenCres serves more than 8,500 children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities at 500 locations in seven counties in the Philadelphia region, and the states of Delaware and Connecticut.
