Monday Showers Followed By Plenty Of Sunshine

After some showers pass through our region on Monday we are in for some sunshine and comfortable temperatures.

This past weekend had some areas of western Pennsylvania feeling as though we skipped September and went straight to November. As the cold Canadian air crept toward our region, Pittsburg had a wind chill in the upper 30s and experienced their coldest temperatures since last May.

We are not yet through with the warm temperatures of the season, as we will experience temperatures in the mid 70s later in the week as the soggy weather pattern breaks and the sun returns to our area.

The week will begin with mostly cloudy skies throughout the day with temperatures in the mid 60s. There is the chance of some rain showers as a low-pressure system that has kept us under grey skies over the past several days begins to depart the region.

The sunny skies will return on Friday with temperatures in the low 70s. The wind will continue to gust over 20 mph throughout the day.

The weekend will begin with a mixture of sun and clouds. The temperatures will be in the low 70s.  The clouds will depart the area and leave full sunshine in its place on Sunday. We will see temperatures reach the high 70s with wind gusts near 15 mph.

Looking ahead, we will have plenty of sunshine next week with temperatures in the 70s early in the week but dropping into the 60s and possibly even the high 50s toward the end of the week.
