Phillie Phanatic Visits the Schuylkill Center

The Phillie Phanatic visits the Schuylkill Center as part of last weekend's Naturepalooza.

More than 700 people, including at least one Phanatic, attended the Schuylkill Center's Naturepalooza event last Saturday as part of the Philadelphia Science Festival.

“This is only our second year presenting Naturepalooza, but our first time partnering with the Philadelphia Science Festival, and we couldn’t be happier about how the event came together,” said Schuylkill Center Executive Director Mike Weilbacher in a press release.  “We had an exciting lineup of activities and enjoyed introducing many new people to the Schuylkill Center.”

The festival focused on "citizen science" and showed participants how to collect data for wildlife censuses like FrogWatch USA and eBird.
