Report: Philadelphia Least Healthy County in Pa.

Of all 67 counties in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia is the least healthy, according to a new report.

The report looked at such factors as premature death, which it defined as deaths before age 75; self-reported health status; self-reported poor physical and mental days; and low birthweight.

It also considered the number of people uninsured; the number of physicians, dentists and mental-health providers; the number of preventable hospital stays; and the number of mammogram and diabetic screenings.
