Residents Participate in MLK Sevice Day
Members of the Shawmont Valley Civic Association help cleanup the neighborhood for Martin Luther King Day.
Members of the Shawmont Valley Civic Association got to work on Monday as part of Martin Luther King Day.
Members of the civic association helped with the Shawmont Preserve and the Shawmont Train Station cleanup and land survey.
Shawmont civic president Dave Cellini wrote in an e-mail: "We enjoyed good weather for Martin Luther King day of service project at theShawmont Preserve and the Shawmont Train Station cleanup and land survey. Thanks to all who attended. Pictures do not include all that participated."
