Roxborough Condos Score 'Gold Star'

A Roxborough community recently received a "Gold Star."

Green Tree Run Condominiums, located on Shawmont Avenue, was awarded a Gold Star Property Rating by the Community Associations Institute (CAI) in December.

“The condo board has worked extremely hard, and is committed in making the community a place where our residents can be very proud to call home. This upcoming year marks our 40th year in operation and we are stronger than ever,” James P. Grimes, Association Board President, said in a statement.

According to a release about the distinction, only 51 communities have the gold star rating in the tri-state area.

The Associations Board of Directors received the award for ...."a community that establishes excellent standards, encourages community involvement, maintains fiscal responsibility, and strives to improve the quality of life for its residents," the statement says.
