The winter storm projected to hit the region Sunday night and Monday morning may not be as bad as initial predictions led us to believe, but it will still be a “significant late winter storm,” the National Weather Service said Saturday night.
According to the latest predictions, Philadelphia will receive 1 to 2 inches of snow, the NWS said. The storm will be worse farther south, with Delaware getting a forecasted 6 inches of snow.
Snow will begin Sunday evening and may continue into Monday morning. There is a chance that Monday commutes will be impacted, the NWS said.
