Tree Tenders to Host Pruning Event
Area tree tenders will have a pruning event on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 6 p.m.
The Roxborough Manayunk Wissahickon Tree Tenders will hold their second of four yearly pruning events on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Kendrick Recreation Center.
The group will take a look at five trees that where planted inside of the recreation center, and the five trees that were planted around the perimeter.
The group will then travel over to the 5900 block of Houghton St. that has about 18 trees that the organization planted.
