Knitty Gritty Day

Celebrate the fiber arts indoors and out at the Schuylkill Center.  Come inside for workshops and demonstrations on knitting, crochet and weaving from natural and recycled materials.  Then grab a cup of hot chocolate or coffee and head outdoors to explore artist Melissa Maddonni Haims’ new yarn bombing installation along our wooded trails.  Workshops are for all ages and run from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.  Opening reception and tour of the Cold Comfort exhibit begins at 3:00.  Enjoy light refreshments throughout the day.  $5 suggested donation for workshop materials.
