At The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre

This class will study the basics of Shakespeare acting techniques through beginner stage combat.  Stage combat is the sweet science that allows actors to SAFELY fight on stage and screen. It will introduce young actors to the language of the plays and the swordfights, and fisticuffs of some of the bard’s classic stories. By learning the basics of Shakespeare acting through unarmed combat and swordplay, students will bring the greatest Kings, clowns, and cowards to life. Class will be taught by Philadelphia actor, fight choreographer, and fight director for Twelfth Night and Titus Andronicus, Mike Consenza.
