“Swedes of the Delaware Valley” Book Discussion & Signing

Join us for a fascinating discussion about the role of early Swedes in the Delaware Valley.  Marge Thorell, a Swedish American, will share this little known history with you and sign the copies of her book, Swedes of the Delaware Valley. Books will be available for purchase the day of the event.  

Bio (taken from www.margrthorell.com) : Marge Murray Thorell, PhD, is a freelance writer and university professor based in Philadelphia. Her articles have appeared in Philadelphia, regional, and international publications, such as Philadelphia Magazine, The Sunday and Evening Bulletin, Broad Street Review, and Center City Review. Her theatre reviews have appeared in CurtainUp and  book reviews in a number of academic journals. She has also written for an English-language Swedish Web site, The Local.
