The Golden Key Boutique

Join us on Saturday November 13, 2010 in downtown Manayunk for the first ever Golden Key Boutique! This unique shopping experience brings together local Manayunk business and vendors in a shop-for-a-cause extravaganza!
 
It will be hosted by The Little Apple, a gift boutique, at 4353 Main Street, Manayunk who will host 6 additional vendors within The Little Apple including: Embellished Antique Linen, Lilly Pulitzer, Peace Valley Lavender, Reflections by the Sea & Simply Fun. Additionally several other participating businesses throughout the Manayunk Business community will open their doors and their hearts including Gary Mann Jewelers, DIGS, TAG, Orbit Gallery, Latitudes Gallery and Nicole Miller as well as Jake's Restaurant and Cooper's Wine Bar.
 
 The local Philanthropies that will benefit from Boutique proceeds include:
 
A Women's Place - A domestic abuse shelter in Bucks County that offers a full range of assistance and support services for victims of domestic abuse and violence and their children, including a free 24-hour confidential hotline, a full service residential shelter, individual and group counseling, legal and medical advocacy, and a children's program. AWP also provides comprehensive community based domestic violence training, education, outreach, and advocacy.
 
Family Support Services - A social services agency in offering Child Welfare, Early Intervention, and suburban School-based Childcare programs in Philadelphia and Delaware County. Through early intervention services, prenatal infant health support, parenting education and support programs, and school-based childcare Family Support Services' (FSS) programs help about 2000 children.
  
Baker Industries – An outsource and fulfillment company which serves as a transitional employment opportunity for those members of society which are typically "unemployable" such as the mentally disabled in Delaware and Philadelphia Counties. Baker Industries employs people with disabilities, recovering substance abusers, individuals on parole, and homeless persons teaching the importance of a solid work ethic in a real work environment.
