Flash Mob Dances in the Street at Arts Festival
An unexpected dance routine broke out in the street at Arts Festival Saturday and Sunday.
Merge Dance Studio organized a flash mob of more than 20 dancers to give a surprise performance during the 24th annual Manayunk Arts Festival on Saturday and Sunday.
Dancers emerged from the crowd at the intersection of Main and Cotton streets at 2 p.m. on Sunday much to the surprise and delight of festival goers.
Organizers of the Manayunk Arts Festival expected more than 200,000 people to attend the event that featured artwork from more than 290 artisans and craftsmen.
The flash mob was made up of both trained dancers and amateurs from around the area.
