In a three-day festival, Manayunk on Ice brought residents out on a chilly yet sunny weekend on Main Street. Organized by the Manayunk Development Corporation, the event presented family friendly events. Friday offered a blending bonfire of ice and flame. Carvers from around the world vied for supremacy Saturday in a National Ice Carving Association-sanctioned event. Fear No Ice followed up with a performance. On Sunday, master carvers from Thailand to Seattle pitted their finest skills against each other.
