Main Street to Close for Arts Festival

Organizers of the 24th annual Manayunk Arts Festival will close Main Street on Saturday and Sunday all the way from Green Lane to Shurs Lane.

Main Street will be closed on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Both sides of Main Street will be lined with more than 290 vendors expected at the show.  Vendors will be selling art pieces ranging in price from $5 to $5,000.

Organizers recommend that festival visitors take SEPTA to the festival, but there will be two shuttles available for visitors.

One shuttle will run from the Ivy Ridge train station, and the other will run from a parking lot located at 555 City Ave.

The shuttle costs $3 per person, and children ride for free.
