ShopRite To Say Goodbye To Citizens Bank
The Roxborough bank is one of a number of branches to close, according to an article in the Philadelphia Business Journal.
"Citizens said in a statement last month that the closures were due partly to the increasing popularity of mobile and online banking changing branch traffic patterns," the article continued.
Citizens is not the only bank to condolidate in recent years, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Sovereign Bank also shuttered some branches.

The article does not mention a timeline as to when the Ridge Avenue location will officially close.
