Fashion's Night Out began in 2009 as a way to celebrate fasion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industries econony and make shopping fun, a release from the Manayunk Development Corporation stated. Since then the event has taken place in more than 100 cities and 15 countries worldwide. And tonight Manayunk wil be added to the list.
Several stores along Main Street are participating in Fashion's Night Out Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Below is a list of participating stores:
- -Featuring New York City-based AV MAX accessessories and refreshments
- -Offering 20 percent off all jeans
- -Featuring light refreshments, music, prizes and cupcakes provided by Sweet Elizabeth's
- Hosting a wine and consign event where shoppers can enjoy drinks, snacks and receive 20 percent off one item in the store.
- -Hosting a featured sample sale complete with champagne and chocolate
- -Shoppers who mention Fashion's Night Out will receive 20 percent off one item.
- -Models will be on display to show off the latest hair trends and new jewel-toned make-up by Aveda. Shoppers will also receive special discounts on future appointments.
