Having three children—ages 8, 13 and 17—reminds me every day what these economic times have done to our schools, so I am always looking for a way to help. Well, this weekend I have a new and easy way to help donate $15 to the school of my choice. So I thought I would share it here at Patch because I know many others also want to help.
Make any type of in-store purchase at any Borders location—must be an in-store purchase, sorry no online buys this time—then take your receipt/certificate and log on to the Internet-based schools charity www.donorschoose.org.
Enter your zip code and select from a list of schools in your area and that school gets a $15 gift card, thanks to you.
